A) EXPORT CARGO RATES EFFECTIVE FROM 1ST December, 2019

(I) TERMINAL CHARGES

(III) BACK TO TOWN SHIPMENT CHARGES.

* If the shipment is back to town, carting charges Re 1/- per kg + Demurrage charges will be levied.

NOTES:

The free period for export cargo shall be 12 Hours for examination/processing by the shippers.After the free period , Late clearance charges will be levied.
Consignment of human remains, coffin including baggage of deceased & Human eyes will be exempted from the purview of Terminal and Warehousing Charges.
No seperate Forklift charges will be levied. Arrangement for consignment of 10 tons and above will be done by consignee/agent and crane charges will be borne by them.
Special Cargo consists of live animals, hazardous goods, valuable cargo and cargo stored in cold storage.
Charges will be levied on the "gross weight" or the "chargeable weight" of the consignment whichever is higher. Wherever the gross weight and /or volume weight is wrongly indicated on the Airway Bill and is actually found more, charges will be levied on the 'actual gross weight' or 'actual volumetric weight' whichever is higher.
Opening/Repacking/Strapping charges will be included in TSP/DEMURRAGE.

Opening/Repacking/Strapping charges will be included in TSP/DEMURRAGE/MISCELLANEOUS receipts, as

(II) WAREHOUSING CHARGES.

Free Period for Import Cargo shall be Two Working days (48HOURS) including the Date of Arrival of Flight. For next Two Days i.e. 4th & 5th Day, Warehousing will be charged at ‘per kg/per day’, non-cumulative basis provided the consignment is taken delivery within 5 days of arrival. If delivery is affected after 5 days from the date of arrival, the Warehousing will accrue for the entire period from the date of arrival of flight as follows:-

NOTES:

Consignment of human remains, coffin including baggage of deceased & Human eyes will be exempted from the purview of Terminal and Warehousing Charges.

Cargo consists of gold, bullion, currency notes, securities, shares, share coupon, traveler's cheques, diamonds (including diamonds for industrial use), Diamond jewelry, jewelry and watches made of silver, gold platinum and items valued at USD 1000 per kg and above.
Opening/Repacking/Strapping charges will be included in TSP/DEMURRAGE.

Packing charges shall be levied as per existing rates.
Service Tax and any other statutory taxes shall be levied extra as per government notifications.
Due to persistent increase in cases of dishonouring of cheques received from the CHAs / Consignees resulting into delivery of cargo without collection of dues besides delaying availability of legitimate dues to MIAL, it has been decided to levy penal charge of 10% of payable dues or Rs. 1,000/- whichever is higher, on each case of dishonouring of cheques.

NOTES (INBOUND & OUTBOUND CARGO)

Consignment of Human Remain, Coffins including unaccompained Baggage of the deceased & Human eyes will be exempted from the purview of Terminal and Warehousing Charges.
Free Period for Outbound Cargo/Inbound Cargo shall be one day (24hrs) for Shipper's/ Consignee.
All bills will be rounded off to the next INR 5 as per rules.
All charges above are excluding any taxes and levies and the same will be charged extra as per rules.
The Charges will be levied on "Gross Weight" or "Chargeable Weight" whichever is higher. Wherever the Gross Weight or Volume Weight is indicated on Airwaybill and found more, Charges would be levied on "Actual Volumetric Weight" which ever is higher.
